Corporate Fun Run Northern Virginia
The Corporate Fun Run Northern Virginia is a team-oriented running and walking event held at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon, Virginia. The event features a 5 km course that starts and finishes at the large round picnic shelter located via the second park entrance off West Ox Road. The route stays entirely within the park grounds.
Event activities are centered at the picnic shelter, where participants gather for packet pickup and company meetings before the run. Following the 5 km, a post-race party includes music provided by a live DJ and awards for various categories. Recognition is given to the largest team, the team with the best t-shirt design, and the fastest teams and individuals.
Complimentary pizza and beer are provided for all participants. Organizations also have the option to cater their own corporate picnics at the venue, which offers banquet and picnic table seating. A photographer is present throughout the evening to take team and individual photos, which are available to participants at no cost.
Ample parking is situated directly at the picnic shelter lot. Registration is open to team members for a fee of $48. While online registration concludes several days before the event, race day registration is also available on-site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
