Corporate Fun Run New Jersey
The Corporate Fun Run New Jersey is a team-oriented running and walking event held at the South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange. The staging area for the event is the public pavilion and picnic grounds at the Turtle Back Zoo, which provides banquet table seating for companies and teams.
The race course consists of a 5 km distance. Participants complete two loops around the reservoir located behind the zoo. The starting line is positioned approximately 300 yards from the zoo entrance, while the finish line is located directly in front of the back zoo entrance.
Post-race activities take place at the zoo's picnic area. The gathering includes music provided by a DJ and catering services offering pizza, ziti, beer, and wine. Awards are presented during the evening for various categories including the largest team, the team with the best t-shirt design, and the fastest individual and team finishers.
Parking is available in two large zoo lots accessible via Northfield Avenue. Registration is open to team members for a fixed fee, with online sign-ups closing several days before the event.
