Corporate Challenge Wellington
Corporate Challenge Wellington is a 5 km team event held at Waitangi Park, Te Aro, on Wednesday 11 November 2026 with a rain date of Thursday 12 November 2026. The course is a flat, two‑lap loop around the Wellington waterfront composed of a 2 km first lap and a 3 km second lap.
The route starts with a full loop around Clyde Quay, crosses a pedestrian bridge to the main harbour esplanade past Te Papa, and on lap two extends past Te Papa toward Shed 6 and offers views of Whairepo Lagoon. The event uses wide waterfront footpaths and does not require road closures; some local vehicle movements may occur near resident access points.
Event HQ is at Waitangi Park with space for team tents directly opposite the main stage. Team tents may be brought by participants or rented; a rental package includes a 3x3 gazebo, trestle table and seating for four and is listed at $250 plus GST. Facilities at the finish include post-race refreshments.
Competitions include team and individual awards. Team awards are based on Team Time, calculated as the sum of the top three qualifying finishers from each team and exclude any participants listed as friends or family. Individual awards and online results use Gun Time and Net Time respectively. An awards ceremony and spot prizes are held in the evening.
