About the race
AdventHealth Corporate 5K in Orlando is a company-focused 5-kilometer run and walk held at Lake Eola Park on April 29, 2027. Businesses and nonprofit organizations form teams to compete in person or virtually; individuals may also register under Track Shack Fitness. The course covers approximately 3.1 miles through downtown Orlando and finishes at Lake Eola Park.
Event amenities include an event bib, a unisex shirt, and a customized finisher certificate. Organizers provide an 8-week training program beginning March 9 with separate walking and running plans. A virtual option is available with packet pick-up or domestic shipping for race materials; virtual participants must submit results by the published deadline for team scoring.
Team features and rules are outlined for captains: captains create teams, recruit members, pick up team boxes, and may "seed" up to 10% of participants (maximum 25) for placement in a seeded corral; seeded runners should be full-time employees and capable of completing the 5K in about 25 minutes or less for seeding purposes. Team tents are available for rental at set fees and follow park regulations.
Proceeds support the Track Shack Youth Foundation and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. The event also includes live entertainment along the course, industry category scoring, a T-shirt design contest that requires the words "Corporate 5K," and several awards such as Team Spirit and top-fundraiser recognition.
