About the event
The Cornwall Triathlon provides a distinct racing experience held within the city core of Cornwall, Ontario. Through a partnership with the City of Cornwall, the event features courses that are entirely free of traffic, allowing participants to compete on closed city streets. The Adult Day program includes a variety of multisport and running events.
Participants can choose from several race formats:
- Olympic Triathlon
- Sprint Triathlon
- Try-a-Tri (200 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run)
- Sprint Duathlon (2.5 km run, 20 km bike, 5 km run)
- 5 km Run
The event serves as a platform for community involvement, with fundraising opportunities for organizations such as BGC Cornwall/SDG. On-site logistics located at 1111 Montreal Road include race kit pickup, body marking, and timing chip distribution. The day concludes with an awards ceremony for the various categories.
