2026 Cornwall Youth Triathlon
The Cornwall Youth Triathlon takes place on August 22, 2026 in Cornwall, Ontario, based at the Cornwall Aquatic Centre and the Cornwall Civic Complex area. The event offers youth duathlon and triathlon races, with triathlon swim segments held in the indoor Aquatic Centre pool.
Races are organized for ages 4 to 14. The event is run in partnership with the City of Cornwall and features a traffic free course in the city core during the event. The bike course follows the recreational path east of the Cornwall Civic Complex and includes Bergeron Drive, Harbour Front and Race Street eastbound. Parking is available at the Cornwall Civic Complex except for the lot east of the Aquatic Centre.
All competitors receive a t-shirt, a medal, and post-race food. The event is not timed. Online registration is capped and will close when spaces for an age group are filled. Participants are advised to arrive at least one hour before their event to prepare equipment and check in.
Race distances for each format and age group are listed below. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
- Duathlon 4 to 6: run 50 m, bike 200 m, run 50 m
- Duathlon 7 to 9: run 500 m, bike 2.5 km, run 1 km
- Duathlon 10 and 11: run 750 m, bike 5 km, run 1.5 km
- Duathlon 12 to 14: run 1 km, bike 7.5 km, run 2 km
- Triathlon 7 to 9: swim 50 m, bike 2.5 km, run 1 km
- Triathlon 10 and 11: swim 100 m, bike 5 km, run 1.5 km
- Triathlon 12 to 14: swim 200 m, bike 7.5 km, run 2 km
