Cornelia Masonic Lodge Gobble Gobble 5K Turkey Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run
The event is the inaugural Cornelia Masonic Lodge Gobble Gobble 5K Turkey Run and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk held on the campuses of Habersham Central High School and Habersham Ninth Grade Academy in Mount Airy, GA. The meeting location and packet pick-up are in the southeast parking lot under the awning of the vocational wing. Parking is available in front of the high school.
Two course options are offered:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Fees are stated by age group: ages 15 and up pay $35.00; participants up to age 14 in the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk pay $15.00. All paid participants receive a limited edition Gobble Gobble long-sleeve t-shirt.
Awards include twenty-two medals covering overall top five finishers and additional medals for the top three runners in each age bracket: Ages 15-25 male and female; Ages 26-35 male and female; Ages 36-59 male and female; Ages 60 and up male and female. Additional medals will be given for best costume and for the longest distance traveled to attend the event.
