8th Annual Corazon De Ninos Run
The event takes place on August 23, 2026 at Union Plaza Park, 201 Anthony St., El Paso, TX 79901. It includes both a community 5K and a 1 mile walk that occur on the same day.

Registration opened May 6, 2025 and closed March 1, 2026. The published registration fee was $30. Packet pick up is scheduled for August 21 at National Furniture Liquidators, 8600 Gateway Blvd East, with an additional pickup day listed as August 22. Short-sleeved dri-fit shirts and a bag were reserved for the first 3000 registrants, with sizes guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis and no size exchanges at packet pick up.
Race scoring is chip to chip. Special medals are noted for overall winners and for age group winners. The first 3000 finishers in the 5K and 1 Mile receive a finisher medal. Additional recognitions include an award for the largest team and a post-race prize drawing totaling $1400. Age group awards are planned across youth and adult categories.
