8th Annual Corazon De Ninos Run
The event offers two distances at Union Plaza Park in El Paso, Texas. Distances include:
- 5K Run (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile Walk (1 Mile)
Registration fee is listed as $30.00. Registration dates in the event information show an opening on May 6, 2025 and a closing on March 1, 2026. The event will use chip timing for official scoring.
Packet pick up is scheduled on two days and at two locations. On August 21 the packet pick up is at National Furniture Liquidators, 8600 Gateway Blvd East, from 10 am to 7 pm. On August 22 the packet pick up is at The Shoppes at Solana, 750 Sunland Park Dr., in the mall near Star Western Wear, from 8 am to 6 pm. On race day participants are asked to wear their bib on the front of the shirt and line up by running pace.
Awards and participant items are described in the event details. The first 2,500 registrants receive a short-sleeved dri-fit shirt and a bag, with sizes guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis and no size exchanges at packet pick up. Special medals are noted for age group winners and overall winners. The first 2,500 finishers in both distances receive finisher medals. There is an award for the largest team and a participant prize drawing totaling $1,400. Age group awards are listed across youth to senior categories, including up to 75+.
