Copperfield Caregiver 5k
The fourth annual Copperfield Caregiver 5k takes place in the hilly Copperfield neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky on November 7, 2026, near 406 Wickfield Dr, 40245. The event is a community 5k run and walk covering 3.1 Miles with a registration fee of $15.00. Registration opens April 13, 2026 and closes November 7, 2026.
This edition honors caregivers and includes a Purple Mile to recognize people with Alzheimer’s and those who need memory care. Donations collected at the event will go to KIPDA aging and disability, an organization that supports meal and care services for older adults.
Top three male and top three female finishers will be awarded and recognized. Participants receive a Dri-Fit shirt and a finishers medal. A light breakfast will be provided by Wild Eggs.
Parking is available at Highview Baptist Church, located to the left of Thornton’s, for those not parking at a resident’s home. The event is described as a local, cause-focused 5k with on-site amenities and awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
