Coos Coho Run - Race to Restore
The event is a community run and walk at Millicoma Marsh in Coos Bay, OR, organized by the Coos Watershed Association. It offers a 5 km run and a 2 km walk along marsh trails and nearby paths.
Participants can check in and pick up race bibs on the day of the event. An awards ceremony takes place after the run. Following the run and awards, a stewardship and invasive species removal event is scheduled along the trail; that stewardship event does not require a ticket.
Course surfaces include uneven ground and a mix of gravel, grass, and rubber or paved track. Course maps are tentative and may be adjusted before the event.
Ticketing information: adult tickets cost $20 and child tickets cost $10. The first 20 children registered may race for free. Free parking is available. Refunds are permitted up to one day before the event.
The event is described as in person and open to all ages. The organizer lists additional information about stewardship and the local ecosystem at Millicoma Marsh. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
