Cooper Young Festival Friday 4 Miler
The Cooper Young Festival Friday 4 Miler is an annual four-mile road race held in the Cooper Young neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. The course runs through the neighborhood’s historic, eclectic streets and finishes at a block party near the start area.
The post-race party includes pizza, Memphis Made beer, and live music by the Lucky 7 Brass Band. Participants who wish to drink beer must obtain a stamp and show proper ID; staff are available at the party site before the race to perform ID checks and issue stamps. Access to the post-race party is allowed for anyone wearing a participant bib; guests without a bib may enter by making a $10 donation to the Cooper-Young Community Association.
Packet pickup is scheduled on race day at Bluff City Sports Print, adjacent to the start and finish area. Cooper will be closed starting at 5pm on race day, so participants may need to park and walk to the start area for packet pickup.
Registration is required online and includes two options: the in-person 4 Miler and the Spirit Runner / Virtual 4 Miler, which includes a shirt and virtual results posting with shipping. Fee information is listed with the event and includes mandatory charges. The event contact is Start 2 Finish Event Management. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
