Cooper Young Festival Friday 4 Miler

The Cooper Young Festival Friday 4 Miler is a community road race in the Cooper Young neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee, held on September 18, 2026. The course runs through the neighborhood and passes residential streets and local block party areas. The event takes place the evening before the Cooper Young Festival and concludes with a post race block party that includes food, beer service under ID rules, and live music.

Packet pickup is available on race day at Bluff City Sports Print, adjacent to the start and finish area. Participants must register online; online registration is accepted through race day. Cooper street will be closed on race day, and participants should plan to park and walk to the start area to pick up packets.

Post race party details note that anyone wishing to drink beer must obtain a stamp after presenting valid ID. Staff will check IDs at the party site before the race so stamps can be issued early. Access to the post race party requires a participant bib or a donation to the Cooper Young Community Association of ten dollars per guest.

Awards are given to top overall male and female, top masters and grand masters, and the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups from 1-9 through 70 plus.
