Cooper River Bridge Run
The Cooper River Bridge Run is an annual point to point 10K held across the Cooper River on the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. The event includes a Walk/Run category that is timed with CHRONOTRACK; timing tags are embedded in the race bib and should not be removed. Walkers may complete the course within the published time limit and will appear in the full results.
Logistics are organized around a pre-race Expo where packet and bib pickup take place; there is no race day packet pickup. A packet mailing option is offered to registrants who pay the mailing fee, and organizers do not re-mail packets for incorrect addresses. Bib transfers and corral changes are handled before published deadlines.
Multiple transportation options are provided to reach the start area, including shuttle buses and a boat shuttle that departs from Fountain Walk Dock/Aquarium Wharf to Patriots Point, with buses transporting participants from Patriots Point toward the start. Shuttle buses are available to runners and walkers who are wearing their bibs. Baby strollers and other wheeled devices are permitted only in the final walkers corral and are not allowed on shuttle buses or the boat shuttle.
Event facts include an entry cap for certain editions, a multi‑booth health and wellness Expo, and course details such as the bridge length of about 2.5 miles and slope sections described in event materials. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
