Cookie Dash 5k and 1 Mile

The Cookie Dash 5K and 1 Mile take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Hampton Cove Middle School in Hampton Cove, AL. The event is listed as a Huntsville Track Club Grand Prix event.

1 Mile

The 5K is held on a USATF certified course (AL14024JD) described as flat. The 5K route runs through the Hampton Cove neighborhood of Deford Mill and finishes on the greenway. The 1 Mile uses the new course introduced the previous year.

More than 1,000 cookies are available after the races. Race proceeds benefit the Huntsville Community Drumline and the Hampton Cove Schools PTA, representing HCES, HCMS, and GSES.

Packet pickup is scheduled for April 16 and April 17 at RunningLane, 2407 Memorial Pkwy SW Unit 1, Huntsville. A limited packet pickup will be available at Hampton Cove Middle School beginning at 2:30 PM on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
