Connor's Way Scenic Memorial 5-Mile Run/Walk
Connor's Way Scenic Memorial 5-Mile Run/Walk is a community memorial event in Hinckley, NY (100 Cady Rd., 13352). The live event takes place on September 20, 2026, and a virtual option runs from September 20 to September 26, 2026. The course covers a scenic five-mile route on wooded, seasonal roads and trails in the foothills of the Adirondacks. All proceeds go to a memorial and scholarship fund that supports students and medical students who intend to practice in underserved areas.

The kids run is an untimed event held on race day; its registration closes in mid-September. Registration for all events is online only. Packet pick-up is scheduled the Friday before the race at Holland Patent High School, 8079 Thompson R., Holland Patent, NY 13354; additional packet pickup and registration are available on race day. A shuttle bus runs from parking in the village of Hinckley to the race start and event area. Awards are presented after the event and medals may be picked up prior to the awards ceremony. Shirts are available for registrations made by early September; virtual participants who register after early September will receive shirts in mid to late October.
