Events
The event offers several race formats:
- A 10 Mile race.
- A 2-Person 10 Mile Relay.
- A 5K race.
- Virtual options for the 10 Mile and 5K distances.
Location and Course
The races start and finish on the track at the Ed Wadas Athletic Complex, Whitesboro High School in Marcy, New York. The course uses a trail along a pedestrian bridge over Route 49 and continues onto the Erie Canalway Trail before returning.
Registration and Details
Registration is tiered with limited capacities. A special registration period begins on January 1. Open registration runs from January 5 through race day, or until events reach their participant caps. Relay registration closes on May 14.
Participants who register by May 3 are guaranteed a moisture-wicking t-shirt and a finisher's medal. Packet pickup is available on the Friday and Saturday before the race at the Boilermaker offices in Utica, and on race morning near the start/finish line.
For safety, the course is restricted to registered athletes and official personnel. Walkers, animals, skateboards, bicycles, and baby joggers are not allowed. Headphones in both ears are strongly discouraged.
