Community Traverse Cleveland Hills
The event is a point to point trail run of 30 km that follows the Wainwright Coast to Coast path through the North York Moors. The route starts at Ingleby Arncliffe and finishes at The Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge. The course crosses a varied landscape including trails, forest tracks, open and exposed moorland, uneven and occasionally technical ground, and short sections of road.
A GPX file and final route information will be provided before the event. One checkpoint is located at Lordstones, approximately 12.7 km into the route; the checkpoint offers water, food including vegan and gluten free options, snacks and race nutrition, indoor access and toilets, and first aid support. The overall cut off for the event is six hours. Participants must reach the checkpoint within the cut off times given in the final event pack and must be capable of maintaining forward progress within the published cut offs.
A mandatory kit list applies and must be carried. Every participant will be issued a live tracker that must be returned to the event team. Free parking is available at the start and a bag drop service will operate from the start to the finish. The event is registered with the International Trail Running Association. Entries open 22 July 2026 and close 15 May 2027; the minimum age is 20 and the entry fee is £50. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
