Community Hike & Trail Run Series - Richmond (2026)
FIERCE Advocates, Moving Forward, and Richmond Run Club present a monthly community hike with an optional trail run pace at 5551 Giant Highway, Richmond, CA. The series is scheduled on first Saturdays in 2026: March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6, July 4, August 1, September 5, October 3, and November 7.
Events begin with a brief welcome and safety notes. Participants may choose between a community hike at a conversational pace with regroup points and no one left behind, or a trail run option that moves at a faster pace and covers more miles with a self paced route plan. The group closes out together at the end of the outing.
Trailhead and parking details, route distance and elevation, and equipment recommendations are posted before each date for registrants. Recommended items include water, sturdy shoes, layers, sun protection, and optional snacks or trekking poles.
This is an outdoor event and routes may change for weather or trail conditions. Participants are expected to move at their own pace and within their limits.
