Community Corn Roast & 5K Family Fun Run/Walk/Roll
The event is the 5th Annual Community Corn Roast and 5K Family Fun Run/Walk/Roll held on August 30, 2026 in Tacoma, Washington at Tacoma Central Church, 1301 S. Baltimore St. The course distance is 3.1 Miles and it begins and ends at the church property. The gathering includes a free community corn roast for participants after the run.
Participation is open to all modes of movement, including running, walking, wheelchair use, and pushing strollers. All finishers will receive a medal. The top three finishers in the men and women categories will receive prizes.
Registration for the event is free. The organizer invites participants to raise funds for the Adventist Community Service Center Special Diet Food Bank. Online registrants who complete registration before August 30, 2026 and donate at least $20 to the food bank will receive one event t-shirt on the day of the event. If multiple people are registered and t-shirts are desired for each person, a donation must be completed for each individual registration.
