2026 Hartford HealthCare Community 5K
The Hartford HealthCare Community 5K takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza, 300 Columbus Blvd, Hartford, CT. The event begins and ends at the Hartford HealthCare Community Stage and follows a course along the Connecticut River and through Riverfront Recapture parks.
The course surface includes dirt trails, wooded trails, grass and paved walkways. The event offers a 5K run, a 5K walk and a youth 5K for participants age 16 and under. Race registration fees are non refundable. The first 500 registrants receive a race t shirt. HHC colleagues may obtain a discount code through the HHC Running Group or Heartbeat.
Awards are given to top finishers in these age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-45, 46-59, 60-69 and 70 and up.
Parking information notes free on street parking on both sides of the river. Paid parking is available in the Connecticut Convention Center Garage; parking on the fifth floor with use of the north side exit provides direct access to Mortensen Riverfront Plaza.
