Commodore Hull Thanksgiving Day 5K
The Commodore Hull Thanksgiving Day 5K is a charity road race held on Thanksgiving Day in Shelton, Connecticut. The course begins in downtown Shelton, travels into Derby, and returns to Shelton, offering a route through the historic downtown areas of both towns. The event distance is 3.1 miles.
The race supports the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley and is presented by Greco & Haines. The 2026 edition marks a 25 year milestone for the event. Awards in 2026 will be given by age group only; there will be no additional race categories or divisions.
Registration information is set in advance. Registration opens August 12, 2026. Runners are limited to a cap of 675 entries and registration closes when that cap is reached. The registration fee becomes $35 on November 1, 2026. No registrations will be taken on race day.
