Commodore Hull Thanksgiving Day 5k Road Race
The Commodore Hull Thanksgiving Day 5k is a community road race held in downtown Shelton. Celebrating 25 years as a local tradition, the event serves as a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley to support programs for youth in the Shelton and Ansonia communities.
The race features a scenic course that starts in downtown Shelton, winds through the historic downtown area of Derby, and loops back to the finish in Shelton. Participants can choose between a live event or a virtual option with a 3-day race window. The event is USATF Track & Field sanctioned and follows Safe Sport guidelines.
