Come on Over 5K and 2.1 Mile Fitness Walk
The event takes place Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Portland Riverfront Park, 284 Brownstone Avenue, Portland, CT 06480. It is scheduled to run rain or shine and features two offered distances:
- 5K run
- 2.1 mile fitness walk
Registration is online only. Online registration opens July 1, 2026; the 5K registration closes September 19, 2026 and the fitness walk registration closes September 25, 2026. The published registration fees are $25.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the 2.1 mile walk. Registrations completed by September 6, 2026 qualify for a free event T-shirt.
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age category for the in-person 5K. The event lists the following age divisions for the 5K: 12 and under, 13 to 15, 16 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, and 70 and older.
