The Colterris Wine Run is a chip-timed 5k held at Colterris Winery in Palisade, Colorado (3907 N River Rd). The course is a two-lap, cross-country style route with some areas of uneven footing and is described as suitable for runners and walkers. Registration includes a t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal (which also doubles as a wine stopper), a race bib with timing chip, online results, and a pour of wine. Results and official timing are handled by J3 Timing.

Logistics and policies
The event offers a virtual participation option with the ability to have a packet shipped for an additional shipping fee. Packet pickup is available at The Colterris Collections & Tasting Room (3708 G Rd, Palisade) and on the day of the event at the winery. Free race photos will be available for download. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each 10-year category (19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 & over). Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards; awards must be picked up the day of the event. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate without registering.
