The Colterris Wine Run 5k is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Colterris Winery, 3907 N River Rd, Palisade, CO 81526. The event is a chip-timed 5-kilometre run/walk open to ages 1 - 99. The course is a two-lap, cross-country style route with some areas of uneven footing.
Race logistics and entries
Registration includes a T-shirt (Super Soft Ring Spun Cotton), a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, results posted online, and a pour of wine (minors do not receive a wine glass or pour). Packet pickup is available on the day of the event and at the Colterris Collections & Tasting Room (3708 G Rd, Palisade, CO). Free race photos will be available for download. Virtual participation is offered, with options to pick up a packet and run independently or have a packet shipped for an additional fee.
Rules, awards and partners
Minors may participate; children in strollers can participate for free and do not need to register. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground. Dogs are not permitted on site. The race is professionally timed by J3 Timing and posts results online. Age group awards are offered for top finishers in 10-year categories, with awards available for pickup on race day. The event’s local charity partner is the Colorado West Land Trust, which conserves agricultural and scenic lands across western Colorado.
