Colterris Wine Run 5k : Palisade, CO
The Colterris Wine Run 5k is a chip-timed 5-kilometer run/walk held at Colterris Winery in Palisade, Colorado (3907 N River Rd, Palisade, CO 81526). The route uses a two-lap, cross-country style course with some areas of uneven footing; it is described as suitable for both runners and walkers.
Timing and results are managed by a professional timing company and finish results are posted online. Registrations include a soft ring-spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Event swag and photographic coverage are provided.
The event offers a virtual participation option. Virtual registrants can either pick up a packet and run on their own, or request packet shipment for an additional fee. Packet pickup is available on the day of the event and may be offered before the event.
Age group awards are offered by 10-year categories; top finishers in each age group receive custom awards that must be collected on the day of the event.
