Craig Brake Memorial Colors 4 Cancer 5K / 1 Mile / Virtual
The event is a powdered color run held in New Bern, North Carolina, that benefits the Journey of Hope Cancer Support Fund. It offers both a live event and virtual participation options. The live event takes place on November 7, 2026. Virtual runs can be completed any time between October 31 and November 7, 2026.

The organizer is a nonprofit that supports local people and families and is part of the CarolinaEast Foundation. Programs supported by the beneficiary include peer support groups, survivorship programming, art therapy, yoga and exercise, and other services for patients and caregivers.
Medals are awarded for the live event only. The 5K awards the top three finishers by gender in these age groups: 10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and above. Participants planning to have a child in a stroller are asked not to register that child for the timed 5K.
Fees and packet details are specified by event. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations after October 3, 2026. Virtual registrants who register by October 20, 2026 will have T-shirts and color packets mailed; packets for virtual participants may also be shipped for a fee.
