Colors 4 Cancer 5K / 1 Mile / Virtual (Craig Brake Memorial)
The event is a powdered color run held in New Bern, North Carolina, that benefits the Journey of Hope Cancer Support Fund. Journey of Hope is a local nonprofit program of the CarolinaEast Foundation that offers peer support groups, a survivorship program, art therapy, yoga and exercise, and other programs for people with cancer and their caregivers.
Options include a live event in New Bern and virtual events. Distances offered:

- 1 Mile fun run/walk live
- 10K virtual option
- 5K virtual option
- 1 Mile virtual option
Registration windows and fees vary by event. Live 5K registration fee is $35 with a student rate for ages 6-17 at $25. Live 1 Mile fee is $25. Virtual 10K is $40 with a student rate at $25. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after October 3. T-shirts and color packets will be mailed to virtual participants who register by October 20; virtual packet shipping is available for a $7 fee.
Medals are awarded for the live event only. The live 5K will award top three finishers by gender in standard age divisions including 10 and under through 70 and above. Packet pickup is at the CarolinaEast Foundation office, 2007 Neuse Blvd B, on Thursday, November 5, with a scheduled pickup window. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
