Color Dash for Hope
The Color Dash for Hope is a community 5K event held at ACE Adventure Resort on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The run is a timed 5K course with color stations along the route and is presented in support of Hope in the Hills and its programs to address opioid addiction in Appalachia.
The course follows a level gravel road for the first half toward ACE’s Concho Overlook of the New River Gorge, with an aid station that includes a splash of water. Runners return to the finish along a relatively flat, easy trail. Event registration includes a finish-line medal, a race shirt for registrations before July 31, 2026, access to a burrito buffet after the run, and prizes for top finishers. Facilities on site include shower houses, changing rooms, free camping on Saturday night at the resort, and free parking.
