CollaBEERation 5K & Brew Fest
The CollaBEERation 5K & Brew Fest returns for its 9th edition in Longmont, Colorado. The event combines a chip-timed race with a post-run celebration hosted at Shoes & Brews. Participants follow a course along the St. Vrain Greenway, featuring mountain views and classic Colorado scenery. The route is designed as an out-and-back course with a lollipop loop, starting and finishing at the Shoes & Brews location on S. Pratt Parkway.
The event offers the following participation options:
- 3.1 Miles (Wave A): For runners aiming to finish in 25 minutes or less.
- 3.1 Miles (Wave B): For runners and walkers with expected finish times over 25 minutes; strollers and dogs are permitted in this heat.
- Brew Fest Only: A non-running option that provides access to the outdoor beverage vendors at the post-race expo.
Registration for the 5K includes a race-exclusive hat, a color-changing souvenir cup, and access to the post-race Brew Fest. The festival features an expo with local partners, live music, food, and complimentary beverages, including beer, cider, and non-alcoholic options. All race participants are entered into a raffle for various gear and prizes. Awards are presented to overall wave winners and across multiple age group categories.
The post-race festivities occur entirely at the Shoes & Brews premises. While the Brew Fest drinking area requires a ticket or race registration and a valid ID for those over 21, the general after-party is open to friends and family.
