Colchester Half Marathon
The Colchester Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 8 March 2026 in Colchester, Essex. The event starts and finishes at the JobServe Community Stadium and covers 13.1 miles on a road course that is described as undulating and accurately measured. The route passes through the city centre, by local landmarks, and continues onto surrounding country lanes.
The event supports The Robin Cancer Trust. Free charity places are available subject to a minimum fundraising requirement of £150, and entrants may also choose to support other charities. Detailed route maps, including GPX files, are provided for participants.
On race day the event offers a bespoke medal, finish line goodies, pacers, prizes for leading runners, and an event village. The organiser notes strong volunteer support. Entries are limited and will close when capacity is reached; on-the-day entries will not be accepted.
