Cohutta Madness
Cohutta Madness is a timed loop race around Lake Conausaga in Chatsworth, GA. The event offers multiple timed run options on a loop course that starts and finishes at the pavilion across from the lake dock. The course runs all the way around the lake, which is described as the highest lake in Georgia.
The trail is mostly flat with no big climbs. Vegetation along the route includes rhododendron and hemlocks, and the trail surface often has a soft forest floor of pine straw. The event is organized by Coyote Ugly Racing. Listed entry fees range from $66.25 to $98.12 (USD).
