About the race
The Coho Run takes place at Ambleside Beach on Argyle Avenue in West Vancouver, BC. Presented by Odlum Brown, the event includes timed road races, a kids run, and a post-race festival at Ambleside Park. Organizers list live DJ sets along the course and a race-day festival beside the finish area. Distances offered: - 5K: certified and measured course, chipped timing, finisher medal - 10K: certified and measured course, chipped timing, finisher medal - 1K Kids Race: bibbed and untimed, finisher medal For the 5K and 10K races, results are chip-timed and organizers provide official course measurement, on-course photos, and a post-race leaderboard.
Top three male and female finishers in each of those races receive prizes from event partners. All participants in listed distances receive a finisher medal and post-race snacks and drinks are available. The event page states there are no refunds or deferrals for 2026 except in the case of an unforeseen weather event or disaster. The event will be hosted in rain, shine, or snow unless the Parks Board or the City of West Vancouver announces otherwise.
