Coconut 5k Run/Walk
The Coconut 5k Run/Walk is the fifth annual 5k event on October 31, 2026 at O.P. Schnabel Park in San Antonio, hosted by St. Mary's Indian Orthodox Church. The course distance is 5k (3.1 miles) and the event is organized as a run/walk, so participation may be running or walking.
Every participant receives a medal, coconut water and a taco. Breakfast tacos, snacks and other refreshments are available at the race location. A virtual option is offered; virtual participants receive a medal and a t-shirt by mail and may use activity-tracking services to record their participation.
Registration details include an early registration phase and a later on-site option. Early pricing lists individual registration at $30 and a reduced rate of $25 per person for teams or families of four or more. On-site registration on the day of the event is offered at a higher fee.
