Coastal Delaware Running Festival
The Coastal Delaware Running Festival is a two-day event held April 11 and 12, 2026 in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Races start and finish on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk and courses include Delaware State Park paths and sections that pass through historic Lewes. The festival lists the marathon as a Boston qualifier and the half marathon as the RRCA Delaware State Half Championship.
Events on the weekend include the following distances:
- Marathon - 26.2 miles (Boston qualifier)
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- 9K Run/Walk - 5.6 miles
- 5K Run/Walk - 3.1 miles
Race services and features noted by the organizer include packet pickup and an expo on Friday and Saturday, gender specific technical shirts for the 9K, half and full marathons, large finisher medals for all primary distances, free race photos, and walker friendly 5K and 9K courses. A finish line celebration at Grotto Pizza is described with pizza, pasta, salads, wings, beer, and music; complimentary post race beer is available for those 21 and older on both days. The event is produced by Focus Multisports, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and proceeds benefit the Delaware Seashore Preservation Foundation and other local charities.
