Event

The Coast to Coast Copper Trail is scheduled for Saturday 23 May 2026. It is a trail run across Cornwall from Portreath on the north coast to Devoran Quay on the south coast, covering approximately 11.5 miles. The route is waymarked and follows two historic transport routes first opened in 1812.

Course and logistics

There is one checkpoint at the Fox & Hounds in Scorrier offering fluids and salt and sugar snacks; runners must ensure their bib is checked there even if they do not stop. The organiser states there is no cut off time. All participants must carry fluid and a mobile phone; there is no mandatory kit check. Canicross entries are permitted. The minimum age for entry is 18 years. The event is subject to restricted numbers and an optional minibus return transfer to the start is available as an extra.
