Coast to Coast Copper Trail 2026

The Coast to Coast Copper Trail takes place on Saturday 23 May 2026. The event runs from Portreath to Devoran in Great Britain, with the start postcode listed as TR16 4LN. It is organised by Purple Gecko Events and is held for the sixth consecutive year.

Course and event details

The route is a way-marked trail that follows two historic transport routes across Cornwall, first opened in 1812, linking the north and south coasts. There is a halfway checkpoint offering fluids and salt/sugar snacks. There is no cut off time. Canicross participants are welcome. An optional minibus return to Portreath is available.

Timing will be handled by ST App Service; there will be no chip timing. All runners must carry fluid and a mobile phone. The minimum age for entry is 18 years. All finishers receive a Coast to Coast Copper Trail medal and there will be awards for top finishers. Registration is subject to restricted numbers and closes on 10 May 2026.
