Coast Guard Foundation Run to Remember 5K - New London
This event is a 5K road race and walk plus a Kids Fun Run at Fort Trumbull in New London, Connecticut. It honors U.S. Coast Guard members who made the ultimate sacrifice and raises funds for the Coast Guard Foundation's emergency relief and tragedy assistance programs for Coast Guard members and their families.

The 5K is an out-and-back course that begins at Fort Trumbull State Park. The route is described as flat and runs along Pequot Avenue with views of the Thames River. Chip timing for the 5K is provided by SNERRO, LLC. Strollers are welcome on the course.
Entry fees for the 5K vary by date, with listed amounts ranging from $35 to $50. The Kids Fun Run is free, though registration is required. Limited edition Coast Guard Foundation Run to Remember T-shirts are available for $30, with proceeds designated for emergency relief and tragedy assistance programs.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, and 70 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
