Run for Music - Ledyard
Run for Music in Ledyard is a community event at the Ledyard Town Green that combines a timed 5K and a short kids run with a finish line festival. The event offers fitness, food, and activities for families and spectators.

The 5K is a timed scenic route that allows walkers and strollers. All 5K participants receive a t-shirt made by Thirty Marketing. The kids fun run is aimed at ages 10 and under and is a short loop around the green; entry for the kids run is by donation, accepted in cash or via Venmo at the event.
A local marching band will play stand tunes along the race route. Food is available for purchase at the town green. A Cars & Coffee event at Lucille's features show cars for a fee and a separate spectator fee; local classic, exotic, and custom cars will be on display.
Registration for both events opens on September 1, 2026. The 5K registration closes on October 16, 2026; kids run registration stays open through the day of the event.
