C'mon Armageddon

C'mon Armageddon is a trail event held in Norvin Green State Park, West Milford, New Jersey. The course runs through technical mountain terrain with boulder fields, river crossings and climbs to mountain peaks that offer views including the New York City skyline. Distances include:

  • 50K
  • 10 Miler
  • 5 Miler

The route profiles specify substantial elevation gain: the 50K covers over 7000 feet, the 10 Miler covers over 2000 feet, and the 5 Miler covers about 1000 feet. Course maps are available via GAIA GPS.

The 50K has mandatory gear and a gear check at bib pickup. Required items include a GPX file on a device, a headlamp, 1 L hydration, 400 calories of food and an outer layer or windbreaker. The event is cupless: water and electrolyte mix will be provided at the start/finish area and at five aid stations on the 50K course, with fuel at those five stations. The 10 Miler has one aid station; participants are asked to bring their own hydration pack.

The event identifies itself as zero carbon for this edition and adds one dollar to registration to offset personal travel emissions through a partner organization. An adaptive athlete policy is available. Awards are given to top male, female and non-binary finishers on the 50K course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
