C'mon Armageddon - The Running Kind
C'mon Armageddon is a trail race held in the mountains of northern New Jersey that routes runners over technical terrain. The course goes through boulder fields, river crossings and up mountain peaks with views that include the New York City skyline. The event date is May 16, 2027.
Distances offered include:
- 50K with over 7000 ft gain
- 10 Miler out and back with over 2000 ft gain
- 5 Miler lollipop course with nearly 1000 ft gain
The 50K loop includes five aid stations, the 10 Miler has one aid station at its turnaround, and the 5 Miler has no aid stations. Specific aid station notes include limited parking near one location and rules about spectator access at others. Cutoff times are enforced at Aid Station 4 and Aid Station 5. Headlamp checks occur after 3 PM at Aid Station 5; runners without a headlamp at that check are not permitted to continue.
50K runners are required to download the course map to a device before the race; this will be checked at bib pickup. Mandatory gear for the 50K includes a GPX file on a device, a headlamp, at least 1 liter of hydration, at least 400 calories, and an outer layer or windbreaker. The event accounts for carbon emissions through offsets and collects donations for the NY NJ Trail Conference. Shoe donations are accepted for Sneakers 4 Good.
