Clowbridge Trail 10k
Clowbridge Trail 10k is a new trail race of 10 km that runs around Clowbridge Reservoir and along the Pennine Bridleway. The course includes 175 m of elevation gain over the 10 km and is marked and marshalled. The event aims to recreate the same friendly atmosphere as the Clowbridge 5k Series.
The race is organised by Run JMC and takes place on 23 July 2026 with the venue at Rossendale Valley Sailing Club, Manchester Road, Burnley BB11 5PF. Local parking options include the lower car park at the Sailing Club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir. Spot prizes will be awarded at the Sailing Club after the event.
Entries are managed through SiEntries. Entries open on 24 February 2026 and close on 22 July 2026. The entry fee is £10. The minimum age for participants is 15 on the event date. Monies from the race will be donated to local causes. ARC licensing is pending for this event.
The course is described as marked and marshalled and competitors should expect on-course marshals and clear route marking.
