About the race
The Run Media City 5k & 10k event takes place in Salford, Manchester, starting and finishing at The Lowry Plaza within Media City UK. Scheduled for July 31, 2025, the race features flat, fast courses on a 2.5km loop that passes landmarks such as the Millennium Bridge, the Imperial War Museum, and the ITV and BBC studios. The 5k consists of two laps, while the 10k covers four laps along paths and pavements inside Media City.
