Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 1/3
The event is a trail 5k held around a route off the Pennine Bridleway at Clowbridge Reservoir. The course is run as two laps of the trail path around the reservoir, run anti-clockwise from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley BB11 5PF. The route has about 25 metres of elevation over the 5 km distance.
This meeting is the first of a three race autumn series taking place on Thursdays on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026. The race is open to participants aged 11 and over. Entry fee is £6.50 and entries are listed as open from 21 March 2026 and closing on 2 September 2026.
Races are described as well marshalled and prizes are provided in each race. Local parking is available with a lower car park at the sailing club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir. Monies from the series will be donated to local causes. The organiser lists licensing under ARC as pending. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
