Event overview

The Clowbridge 5k - NYD! is scheduled for 1 January 2026 and is organised by Run JMC. The race distance is 5 km and the event has a minimum age of 11 on the event date. Course and logistics

The route is two laps of the trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir, run anti-clockwise from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The course is described as a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway with approximately 25 m total elevation over the 5 km. Competitors are asked to park sensibly locally; available parking includes the lower car park at the Sailing Club and parking on Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.
