About the race
Clowbridge 5k - NYD! is a New Year’s Day trail race around Clowbridge Reservoir near Burnley, Lancashire. The course is two anticlockwise laps of the reservoir’s trail path, totaling 5 km with about 25 m of elevation. Open to runners aged 11 and older, the event is described as fast and flat with marshalled sections and ample prizes.
Start/registration is at the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club (parking at Limey Lane near the reservoir). Monies raised are donated to local causes.
