The Event
The Clovis Memorial Run is a community event in Clovis, California. It honors military servicemembers who have made sacrifices and celebrates active service members and their families.
The Activities
Multiple events are offered, primarily distinguished by distance and participant category. The list includes:
- A timed 5k run or walk.
- A 2 mile walk.
- A half mile kids run.
- A half mile Senior Walk and Roll event for participants aged 60 and over. Separate, free events exist for veterans and active military personnel in the 5k, 2-mile walk, and senior categories.
Additional Features
A large resource fair features over 20 community organizations providing health and wellness information for veterans, seniors, and families. The finish line is decorated with American flags. Standard registration includes a hot pancake breakfast, an event t-shirt, and a finisher's medal. Packet pickup occurs over two days prior to the event at the Clovis Transit Center.
