Shinzen Run/Walk
Shinzen Run/Walk is a multi-event running and community gathering held at Woodward Park - Group Activity Area in Fresno, California. The event has supported the Shinzen Garden for over 35 years, and proceeds benefit the Shinzen Garden.

Registered participants receive a finisher medal, a custom bib, a T-shirt, a pancake breakfast, and free entry to the Shinzen Garden. Virtual participants receive a finisher medal and a custom bib; virtual run packets can be picked up or mailed for a shipping fee.
Age group awards are organized in the following bands: Ages 6-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up. Awards are given for first, second, and third place male and female in the 2 Mile, 5K, and 10 Mile events. First place receives a blue metal ribbon and a small bonzai plant kit; second place receives a red metal ribbon and an age group winner glass; third place receives a white metal ribbon.
