Event Overview
The Breast Reconstruction Awareness Close the Loop 5K 2025 is the eighth annual event. It is a 5K run and walk. The event supports the Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Campaign of The Plastic Surgery Foundation. Funds go to awareness, assistance, charitable care, and research for breast reconstruction and breast cancer.

Event Format and Registration
The event has three options:
- Close The Loop 5K Run/Walk (in-person)
- Close The Loop VIRTUAL 5K Run/Walk
- Close The Loop 5K Run/Walk WITHOUT T-shirt or Medal (in-person)
Registration for all events is scheduled to open on May 20, 2026. The listed price for each option is $75. Teams can be formed with no size limit.
Course Information
The race is described as a fun run. It will not have street closures. Runners will need to wait for traffic lights at the intersection with Poydras Street. Staff and volunteers will mark the course.
Additional Information
