The Clinton Classic 5K
The Clinton Classic 5K is an annual running event held at Rock Creek Park in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Established in 2020, the event is held in memory of individuals who have lost their lives to ALS. The race serves as a fundraiser, with all proceeds donated to the ALS Association to support research and the search for a cure for the disease.
The course is located at 101 Old Farmington Road. The event is open to all participants, and the route concludes near the park stage, marked by a large inflatable finish line. Every runner who completes the distance receives a finisher medal. Additionally, medals are awarded to the first-place finishers within each age division.
Following the run, participants are eligible for various giveaways. The event has grown since its inception to include the names of many community members honored by their families during the race. The primary focus of the gathering is to provide support for the ALS Association through a community athletic activity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
