Battle Run Benefiting A Soldier’s Child Foundation
The Battle Run Benefiting A Soldier’s Child Foundation is scheduled for May 2, 2026, at Henry Horton State Park in Lewisburg, Tennessee. The eighth annual event features several course formats on trails and includes obstacle-course options. All profits will be donated to A Soldier's Child Foundation to support its 2025 camps.
The event offers the following course options:
- Crucible, multi-lap 26.2 miles including the O-course
- Battle Axe, 13.1 miles on the trails
- Anvil, 3.1 miles on the trails
- Gauntlet, about 3 miles with 20 or more obstacles
- Anvil and Gauntlet combo
- Dax's Kid Gauntlet, kids O-course with repeated start waves and multiple runs allowed with one registration
Participants receive a t-shirt, a custom dog-tag, and a plate lunch at the finish line. A festival area near the course will include games, food, and a DJ. Plate lunches will also be available to non-participants for a donation. Photos taken on the course will be posted after the event.
A Soldier's Child Foundation serves Gold Star Children of fallen servicemembers from all U.S. military branches. The foundation supports children through birthday celebrations, summer camps, mentorship programs, and assistance with secondary and college scholarships.
