Event Overview
Climb Pocono is an endurance hiking event supporting cancer research. The hike covers a distance of approximately three miles, beginning at Camelback Resorts and finishing at the summit of Big Pocono State Park.
Event Details
The route follows a paved road with an estimated elevation gain of 600 feet. A shuttle service transports participants back down from the summit after the hike. The starting point is Camelback parking lot D6.
On-Site Activities
A post-hike celebration called Hike Fest is held at the summit. It features live music from a DJ, food and beverages, and a Survivor Tent for cancer survivors.
Registration
Registration includes an event t-shirt. The standard fee is $35, with a $25 fee for veterans, children, and students. The price increases after April 20, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
