Cleveland Oktoberfest Bier Run
The Cleveland Oktoberfest Bier Run takes place at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea during Labor Day Weekend. This event combines fitness with the festivities of the Cleveland Oktoberfest, offering participants an opportunity to run or walk through the fairgrounds before the main festival activities begin.
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5K Run (approx. 3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile Walk
Registered participants receive a short-sleeved race shirt and a free drink ticket for those aged 21 and older. The event features age group awards for the competitive portion of the race. Every participant also gains free entry to the Cleveland Oktoberfest festival following the completion of their event. An additional free admission is provided to those who attend the race in authentic German costume.
The event allows dogs on the course, provided they remain on leashes and are under the control of their owners at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and ensuring they are well-socialized for a busy environment. Parking for the event is located at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, accessible via Gate 2 on Eastland Road. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
