Great Lakes 5K Bier Run
The Great Lakes 5K Bier Run is part of Cleveland Oktoberfest and is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, at the fairgrounds in Berea, Ohio. 5K participants must use the Eastland Rd entrance to the fairgrounds at 164 Eastland Rd, Berea, OH 44017. The event is managed by Hermes Sports.

Registration fees are listed as $35 for pre registration and $40 for race day registration for both the 5K run and the one mile walk. A family rate saves $5 per person for families of four who share the same home address and who register before Aug. 22, 2026.
Awards for the 5K include top male and top female overall and three deep in age categories, including a wheelchair division. Age class winners 20 and over receive a commemorative pint glass; winners 19 and under receive a medal. Pre registered runners receive a race t shirt while supplies last. Presenting a race bib at the Eastland Rd gate provides one free admission to Cleveland Oktoberfest; participants 21 or older also receive one free drink ticket.
