Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Future for Wildlife 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk
This event is held at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, OH 44109. Participants choose a species to support from the following options: Andean Bear, Asian Turtle, Giraffe, Gorilla, Lion, or Rhino.
Two course options are offered:
- 5K run
- 1 Mile walk
Registration opens March 9, 2026. Pre-registration through October 2 costs $30; registration from October 3 through race day costs $35. Race day registration is available online only. Registration and packet pick-up are provided.
Event entry includes a custom race t-shirt, a finisher medal for all participants, post-race refreshments, and admission to the zoo. Spectators must purchase zoo tickets online; zoo membership does not grant free entry. Ticket prices are to be determined. Admissions staff will scan purchased online tickets, and the box office will not be open.
