Empower Sports Thru to Zoo 5k and 1-mile
Empower Sports Thru to Zoo is a running and walking event at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, located at 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, OH 44109, on 19 September 2026. The program includes a timed running race and a separate one mile walking route.

Registration opens on 10 March 2026 and closes on 31 July 2026. Event entry information in the event materials lists an entry fee of $35.00 for the 5K and for the 1 mile. Race registration includes an event t shirt and access to the zoo. After the event, participants are invited to awards, food, and an open bar at the Palava Hut.
Supporters who wish to attend must purchase zoo admission tickets online; the box office will not be open for these purchases. Posted supporter prices are $20.50 for adults ages 12 to 61, $18.50 for seniors 62 and older, and $16.50 for juniors ages 2 to 11. Dogs are not allowed at the event.
Awards are presented to the top five overall men and women and to the top three finishers in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
