Bubble Blast Memorial 5K
The North Royalton Family Y will host the ninth annual Bubble Blast memorial 5K on September 19, 2026, at the North Royalton YMCA, 11409 State Road, North Royalton, OH 44133. Proceeds benefit the Y’s Annual Campaign to help area youth and families access Y programs and services, including swim lessons, youth sports leagues, and before and after school childcare.
Since the event began, the North Royalton Y has supported over $200,000 in scholarships for membership and programs. The race is dedicated to the memory of a former board member who helped start the event in 2016 and who advocated for youth and families in the community.
Packet pickup is offered at a local brewery the day before the event and at the YMCA on event day. The 5K is chip timed; a separate 1 mile walk is offered as an untimed option. 5K awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to age group winners.
Registered participants receive a T shirt, a finisher medal, and refreshments at the finish line. A course map is provided by the organizer and timing is provided for the 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
