Cleveland Metroparks Lantern Festival 5K Presented by CrossCountry Mortgage
The event takes place on July 21, 2026 at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in Cleveland, Ohio. The program includes two distances:
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile Walk
Pre-registration through July 18 costs $30. Registration from July 19 through race day costs $35. Online registration opens June 8, and race day registration is available online only.
Participants receive a custom race t-shirt, a participant medal, post-race refreshments, and admission to the zoo the evening of the race. Early packet pickup is available on July 21 at Hermes Sports & Events, 2425 W 11th St #2, Cleveland, OH 44113. Race day packet pickup and registration are available at the venue.
Timing is chip timed for the 5K and untimed for the 1 Mile Walk. Supporters who wish to attend must purchase zoo admission tickets online, even if they are zoo members; the ticket price is $22.50 and the box office will not be open. Admissions staff will scan online tickets on race day once purchased.
Strollers are allowed on the course. Dogs are not permitted inside the zoo. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
