Event Information

The City of Solon 5K is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026. It includes two events: a 5K run and a Kids Donut Dash.

Location

The event is based at the Solon Community Center on 35000 Portz Parkway in Solon, Ohio. The 5K start line is on Portz Parkway in front of the Community Center. The Kids Donut Dash start is on a path behind the Community Center. Both events finish at the back of the Community Center.

Course Details

The 5K route travels through the streets of Solon and is described as a flat course. The Kids Donut Dash includes short distances: one heat for children aged 7-12 covers a half-mile, and a second heat for children aged 3-6 covers an eighth of a mile.

Registration & Fees

Registration for the 5K costs $20, with an additional $5 surcharge on race weekend. Registration for the Kids Donut Dash costs $15.

Included Features

Participants in the 5K receive a race shirt, chip-timed results, and post-race snacks and refreshments. Awards are given for top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers in multiple age categories.
