City of Solon 5K
The event on July 25, 2026, at the Solon Community Center (35000 Portz Parkway, Solon, OH) features a community 5K and a Kids Donut Dash. The 5K follows a flat route through the streets of Solon and is chip-timed for official results.
Distances
- 5K 3.1 miles, chip-timed
- Kids Donut Dash 400 m with two heats (ages 3-6: 1/8 mile; ages 7-12: 1/2 mile)
Registration fees are listed as $20 for the 5K with a $5 race-weekend surcharge, and $15 for the Kids Donut Dash. Included with registration are age-group and overall awards, a Solon race shirt, and post-race snacks and refreshments. Age-group awards are given for the top three male and female finishers in the following groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Top male and female overall finishers are also recognized.
Additional race details note that dogs and strollers are permitted on course when lined up toward the back at the start. A water stop is provided roughly halfway along the 5K course.
