Age Group Draft Legal (Super Sprint)
The Age Group Draft Legal race returns as part of the Clermont Draft Legal Triathlon. The event revisits a format first held in 2010 when organizers staged the first age group draft legal race in the United States. In 2027 the race offers age group athletes another opportunity to compete in draft legal format.
Separate Men’s and Women’s Super Sprint races are offered to create a fair and competitive field focused on speed, strategy, and bike handling. Anyone age 16 and older is eligible to race. Athletes compete across the weekend, with races scheduled on both Saturday and Sunday.
This race is USA Triathlon sanctioned and governed by the USA Triathlon Multisport Competition Rules. Registration for the event opens on October 31.
Race distances include:
- 375-meter swim
- 10K bike (2 loops)
- 2.5K run (1 loop)
